Facility rental
The Nelson Squash Club licensed lounge is available for private functions. Access is given to ping pong tables, squash courts (dodge ball on the squash courts is one of the favourite group activities), and a dance floor with a mixer and speakers.
You don’t even have to be a club member or squash player ! We are open to the general public for whatever you have in mind up to 100 persons.

SPECIAL EVENTS INFORMATION
The Nelson Squash & Social Lounge is a fully licensed establishment. Rental of our facility includes:
- Exclusive use of the lounge
- Exclusive use of squash courts which can be used for squash or dodge-ball (equipment provided)
- One to three bartenders (number of staff provided depends on size of party)
- A selection of local craft beer on tap. A wide selection of beer, cider, coolers & wine. We can provide specific items by request
- A wide selection of non-alcoholic drinks. You are welcome to bring your own non-alcoholic drinks
- Stereo system, PA and TVs
- Ping-pong table (can be removed to make more space)
- 100 person capacity (including bar staff)
- Minors welcome until 10 pm
We do not have a kitchen (just a pizza warmer). You are welcome to bring food or have food catered.
We do not have the means to provide tea or coffee. If you would like these, please make your own arrangements.

RATES:
- $250/night
* We require a $50 deposit to hold the booking. It is refundable up until one week before the event (two weeks in December).
Please make sure all attendees are aware of these rules, prior to the party:
- Please make sure ALL minors and people with children know that they must be gone by 10 pm and absolutely no later.
- We have zero tolerance for under age drinking. Anyone caught drinking under age or providing drinks to anyone under age will be asked to leave immediately.
- Our liquor license does not allow anyone to bring or open their own alcoholic drinks. We prefer no alcoholic gifts be exchanged for this reason. This being said, should any be given, the recipient must NOT open it at the club or they will be asked to leave immediately.
- Although people are welcome to pay with cash, we are not a cash only bar. We accept debit and credit cards. We are also able to run a bar tab for anyone who is able to leave their credit card with us for the duration of the event.
- No outdoor shoes allowed on courts. Please bring non-marking indoor shoes or simply remove shoes before entering the courts.
